* Required Fields

Talk about vintage-inspired — a CPO shirt is very coolest-guy-in-your-class-in-1971. So how could we not make a girl version? The original shape is modeled after the jackets issued to chief petty officers at sea, but we updated this one for a more wearable look with a high-low hem, a popover placket, a band collar, and denim-ish indigo linen from Italy.

The Specs

  • Italian indigo denim
  • 100% linen
  • 22 stitches/inch
  • band collar
  • popover placket
  • two front pockets
  • rounded cuff
  • Honduras
  • dry clean
  • model is 5'10" and wearing size S

Keep in Mind

With any true indigo fabric, there’s a risk of color transfer, where a little blue makes its way to light-colored fabrics or your skin. This is called crocking, and it usually comes out in the washing machine or the shower, respectively! It’s inherent to natural indigo dye, and it’s part of what makes those garments fade so beautifully. Still, for the first few wears, we recommend laundering separately and staying away from light-colored upholstery.
