Blue Rider Press After Andy: Adventures in Warhol

Natasha Fraser-Cavassoni
A fun, fast-paced memoir of an art assistant who ended up, as she puts it, in Warhol Land — though she began work at his studio four days before his death, they ran in the same circles for years and she found herself handling much of his posthumous legacy. As she puts it, his memorial was her first New York society event. It's all of the fun parts of a tabloid magazine, mixed with the jetset style of a longform piece in Vanity Fair, only in hardcover — in addition to Andy, there are plenty of recognizable names in here, from Halston to Jack Nicholson to, of course, Mick Jagger. Makes a great gift for Warhol obsessives or celebrity-gossip junkies who have exhausted all current news and want to time-travel back a few decades.
